Thank You for your interest in The Summer Dance Intensive 2008 All intensives allow for early drop off and late pick up by appointment $5 per half hour Anything but ballet! A full week to learn the ins and outs of dance... with out a ballet class! Classes are designed in a relaxed atmosphere dance camp. The suggested age is 7 and up. Students will work on anything from Jazz to Modern to Tap. This camp is sure to hook you on dance; maybe even so much that you are willing to try some ballet! Camp will be separated into two levels and is great for someone who has ballet training but wants to branch out into other forms. Mix it up dance intensive is either a 4 week or 2 week intensive camp for dancers looking to make drastic improvement over the summer. Students will study everything from Ballet, Jazz and Tap to Hip Hop and Modern to Jumping and Turning. By far the camp that has proven to allow for the most improvement in dance technique. All Levels, ages 7 and up. Camp will be separated into two levels at the start of the camp. Kinder Camp is a Fun and Creative camp for All Levels, ages 4-8. Students will work on Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Creative Movement, Hip Hop and Gymnastics. It is a half day, full week of creativity, technique and fun. Theory Intensive is a 3 week intensive camp for dancers looking to know more about dance than just the technique. This camp allows the dancers to design and construct a costume; to study and practice dance pedagogy; to choreograph and perform a dance piece and to learn some of the history of dance. Contemporary Boot Camp Scheduled by request... this contemporary boot camp is a high energy modern dance intensive camp for students wanting to learn the ins and outs of Modern Dance. Plan on learning a myriad of forms and come with a LOT of energy! All Levels, ages 7 and up The everything is an 8 week seriously intensive camp for dancers that can not stand the idea of having to go more than a week with out dancing. This camp combines ALL of the camps of the summer at a discount. There is no telling what kind of improvement will be made during this session. Unless otherwise described, all camps allow for multiple abilities. Group placement will be determined the first day of camp. |
