THE NUTCRACKER EXPERIENCE

September 4-December 15, 2012 (date of Nutcracker is tentative, as it depends on when the theatre is available; which is usually not guaranteed until September)

Below is the tentative schedule and pricing for Fall 2012

The now annual Nutcracker Experience will be a 14-15 week long experience that incorporates a technique intensive for 10 weeks and concludes with a 4-5 week rehearsal period where all of the students at CMSD will work collaboratively on The Nutcracker.  Specific weeks will vary due to the varying calendar.  The last week of rehearsals for the Nutcracker will be based on Acts and may not always fall during your class time.  The schedule will be posted the second week of classes, once we have determined the best fit for each dancer. If your dancer would like to be considered for Clara or any of the solo parts, there is a camp during the summer that will help us determine this through an audition process.

Technique Schedule Fall 2012:                       

Age 1.5 and up
The following classes are Tap, Jazz, and Ballet combination classes, unless labeled otherwise.

Although our school is located in Lebanon, NH it serves students from many surrounding towns; attending many different schools, including private schools and home school families. It would be impossible to accommodate everyone's school vacation and religious holiday schedules.

The gymnastic options below do not include anything except class

The below program includes class, all costume rental, 4 seats to the Show Case, a photo cd of your dancer, a photo program, and a t-shirt.

Preschool: 3-5 year olds, Choose 1                $225

Kinder Dance: 5-6 year olds, Choose 1          $225
Tuesday 3:30-4:30, Saturday 11:30-12:30

3-6 BOYS ONLY: 1 Choice    $200

It is highly recommended that these students choose to do both L1 classes to work on their technique two days a week

It is highly recommended that these students also take a Level 1 class to work on their technique three days a week and the combination is offered at $950 or all 4 days at the student cap

It is mandatory for all pointe and aspiring pointe students to participate in a pointe work class. Tuesday 7:30-8:00pm or Saturday 8:30-9:00am.  The class is offered to all Level 3, 4 and 5 students free of charge and to Level 2 students for $55.  It is also recommended that pointe students participate in a class two levels below their's wearing their pointe shoes.
