About Us

Creative Movement School of Dance offers Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop, Modern, Gymnastics, Adult classes, and other specialty workshops. Creative Movement School of Dance is focused toward learning to move the body in beautiful and creative ways, through a variety of disciplines. Please have available students age, interest and dance history, to help in proper class placement. Feel free to call at anytime with any questions.

Our Mission

At Creative Movement School of Dance,we hope to provide the opportunity for you to realize in what way you would like to participate in dance, and then work with you to achieve your goals. We will strive to provide an environment that fosters education, confidence and FUN.

Tammi DeFelice, owner/founder

Tammi DeFelice, formerly Moriglioni, is known for her energy, eye for detail, and enthusiasm. She has a varied and interesting background, with a myriad of experiences.  As a Mom, Tammi is focusing on CMSD's preschool classes and hoping that her new knowledge of a mother's needs will help her improve on what is already a wonderful program! Tammi first became involved in dance through her 19 years in gymnastics as a competitor, dancer, choreographer, and coach. Her dance background includes private instruction as a child, formal education (UNH BA in Dance 1997), European experience, NY experience, and West Coast experience. Though her strongest training has been in Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Modern, she has also studied Hip Hop, African and some swing.  As a professional, she has been choreographing since 2001 and teaching since 1994, both at the collegiate level and at private schools.   Having traveled extensively throughout her career, Tammi has variety in her teaching style and has developed the ability to work with a wide range of ages and personalities. She has chosen Lebanon as her final stop and has dedicated herself to Creative Movement School of Dance as a place to channel her creativity and energy. 

Michelle Carlson, Teacher

Michelle Carlson received her dance degree from Keene State College, along with an education degree. Michelle has vast tap, jazz, hip hop and modern experience. Michelle has been teaching various classes at CMSD since 2008. Currently, Michelle teaches the Modern dance class. When she is not at CMSD, she teaches at a local Junior High.
